OUR MISSION We’re not just slinging cocktails and cracking jokes behind the bar – we’re also working behind the scenes to make Hartlepool better, one meal (and one good vibe) at a time. As a community interest company, every penny of profit from Blue Valentines goes straight back into local projects that actually make a difference. No fluff. No boardroom waffle. Just real people doing real things for their community.

Chances are, you already know us – maybe we served you the best damn espresso martini of your life or convinced you to order “just one more” round of tacos. Either way, we’re glad you’re here. Because when we’re not running the liveliest spot on Church Street, we’re dreaming up ways to bring people together through the ultimate social glue: food.

Food is how we connect. It’s how we share stories, learn new skills, and celebrate what makes each of us unique. Whether we’re hosting a cultural feast, teaching someone how to run a kitchen, or simply giving folks a space to belong – we’re all about building community from the inside out.
